About us

Our Innovations

When building high-powered rockets, we focus on hands-on learning, engineering fundamentals, safety, and teamwork — the core elements that launch students toward future aerospace opportunities.

Discover Student-Led Aerospace Innovation

Our team is committed to hands-on learning, exploration, and pushing the boundaries of what students can achieve in aerospace.

Our mission is to design, build, and launch high-powered rockets while inspiring the next generation of engineers and innovators.

The Future of Student-Driven Aerospace Innovation

Meet Our Team

A passionate group of students learning, building, and launching together.

Riley Reid

Co-President

Riley helps guide the overall direction of ARC, coordinating between departments and ensuring the team stays aligned with its mission. From propulsion testing to outreach and planning, Riley brings focus and energy to every phase of the project.

Susy Elina Garza

Co-President

Susy leads with creativity and technical insight, helping organize meetings, review designs, and ensure each department reaches its milestones. She plays a key role in motivating members and turning student ideas into launch-ready results.

Vraj Prajapati

Payload and Recovery

Vraj leads the design of the payload and recovery systems, ensuring that the rocket and onboard experiments return safely after each flight. His work combines mechanical design, materials research, and data analysis to support successful missions.

Osiris Barriga-Duncan

Finance

Osiris manages budgeting, purchasing, and sponsorship coordination. He helps secure funding, track expenses, and ensure the club operates efficiently while preparing detailed reports for SBCC and supporters.

Jose Soriano

Media

Jose leads documentation and publicity for ARC. From filming the progression of the certification rocket to managing social media, he ensures the club’s story reaches students, sponsors, and the community.

Kastubah Pawar

Avionics

Kastubah develops the electronic backbone of ARC’s rockets — including flight computers, GPS, and onboard cameras. His team focuses on real-time data collection, communication reliability, and precision during every launch.

Alizée Lytle

Operations and Outreach

Alizée bridges communication between departments and external partners. She manages outreach events — including campus collaborations — to keep ARC connected between partnerships.

Jerahmy Sotelo

Aerodynamics

Jerahmy oversees the rocket’s shape, structure, and flight stability. Using simulation and testing, he ensures that each design maintains balance and performance from ignition to recovery.
